ZAOSTROG

Zaostrog is a settlement at the Makarska Riviera, 35 km away from Makarska.

It is mentioned for the first time in 1494., but there are traces of human habitation since prehistoric times. Today Zaostrog is a tourist town at the south of Makarska Riviera fully oriented towards tourist development.

It has over 350 inhabitants mainly engaged in tourism and service industry. the town has over 750 beds and private accommodation and 600 places in the auto camp "Viter".

Located in the emerald valley, surrounded by the slopes of Biokovo with beautiful beaches, Zaostrog is an ideal place for a pleasant vacation.
