Tucepi

Tucepi
The place has been inhabited since ancient times. It lies on Makarska Riviera, 4 km southeast of Makarska, on the slopes of Biokovo Mountain, which makes this destination even more attractive. The place has pine forests and olive groves that blend with the sandy beach and blue sea. Thanks to its natural beauties, Tucepi has been a well-known destination for quite some time. Accommodation is available in hotels and apartments. The gastronomic offer is based on local cuisine. Sports enthusiasts can rent water and other sports equipment, while Biokovo Mountain is a real challenge for mountain climbers and speleologists. There are various restaurants and konobas in Tucepi. The locals primarily live off of agriculture and tourism. Additional facilities: Hotel Alga has a congress center. We recommend: Walks, lunch or dinner on Biokovo Mountain. Sightseeing of the ruins of an old Christian church from the 5th century in the town cemetery, sv. Juraj church from the 13th century, sv. Mihovil and sv. Kata churches in Pasalici, Baroque villas belonging to the Ivanisevic and Lucic-Pavlovic families, as well as the summer residence of Grubisic abbot, nowadays, Kastelet Hotel. Visits to Podgora and Makarska, as well as excursions to the island of Brac.
