Susak, Susak is a small island in Kvarner area west of the island Lošinj. Vines are planted almost all over the island (terraced vine yards). The homonymus town consists of the old area at the edge of sand plato and new area along the beach. The traffic connection are done over Mali Lošinj. Susak was inhabited in the Roman times. Adjoining the present church there used to be Benedictine monestery from 11th century. Inhabitants are aslo engaged in fishing and fish manufacturing beside viticulture. .
