AQUARIUM PULA

Aquarium Pula nalazi se u austrougarskoj utvrdi Verudela sagrađenoj 1886. godine na istoimenom poluotoku, 3 km udaljenom od centra Pule.
Prenamjena utvrde u akvarij kontinuirano se odvija od 2002. godine. Akvarijski postav smješten je u 60-ak bazena u prizemlju, rovu i prvom katu utvrde. Na površini od približno 2000 m2 posjetitelji će upoznati organizme sjevernog i južnog Jadrana, tropske morske i slatkovodne ribe kao i predstavnike europskih rijeka i jezera.
S krovišta utvrde pruža se jedinstven pogled na grad Pulu i cijelu Istru, a u rovu utvrde moguće je osvježiti se na ljetnoj terasi.

Aquarium Pula is located in the Austro-Hungarian fortress Verudela, which was built in 1886 on the peninsula 3 km from the centre of the city of Pula. Transforming the fortress into the aquarium has been in progress since 2002. The installation has been set in about 60 tanks on the ground floor, the moat, and the first floor of the fortress. In an area of approx. 2000 m2 visitors can get acquainted with inhabitants of Northern and Southern Adriatic Sea, tropical marine and freshwater fish and with representatives of European rivers and lakes.
From the roof of the fort, a unique view of the entire city of Pula and Istria stretches to the distant horizon, while in the moat you can enjoy refreshments on our summer terrace.

Das Aquarium Pula ist in der österreichisch-ungarischen Festung "Verudela" auf der Halbinsel Verudela, 3 km vom Stadtzentrum Pulas gelegt .
Die Umgestaltung der Festung in das Aquarium passierte kontinuierlich seit dem Jahre 2002. Die Anlage besteht derzeit aus 60 Wasserbecken im Erdgeschoß, im Festungsgraben und im ersten Stock der Festung. Auf 2000 m2 ist eine grosse Auswahl von Bewohnern der Nord und Süd Adria, tropischer Meere und Süßwasserfische, als auch Exemplare aus europäischen Flüssen und Seen zu besichtigen.
Vom Dach der Festung hat man eine einzigartige Aussicht auf die gesamte Stadt Pula und das südliche Istrien, während Sie sich im Festungsgraben auf unserer Sommerterrasse bei Kaffee, kühlen Getränken und kleinen Snacks erfrischen können.

L'Acquario di Pola si trova all'interno della fortezza militare austro-ungarica Verudela, costruita nel 1886, situata sull'ononima penisola a 3 km dal centro della città di Pola (Pula). La conversione della fortezza militare in acquario avviene in modo continuo dal 2002. All'acquario sono in mostra una sessantina di vasche collocate al pian terreno, al primo piano e nella trincea della fortezza. I visitatori, su una superficie di circa 2000 m2, possono familiarizzare con gli organismi dell'Adriatico meridionale e settentrionale, con i pesci tropicali marini e d'acqua dolce e con i rappresentanti dei fiumi e dei laghi europei.
Salendo sul tetto della fortezza si può ammirare un meraviglioso panorama sulla città di Pola e su gran parte dell'Istria, mentre nella trincea ci si può rinfrescare sul terrazzo estivo.
